Interpol creates nuclear terrorism prevention unit

Interpol is set to create a new nuclear terrorism prevention unit, the organisation announced on Wednesday, 18 May. The new team will greatly increase Interpol’s ability to take on threats relating to Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear and Explosive (CBRNe) terrorism by "using an integrated approach that leverages international partnerships and expertise across all sectors".
