Britain voices concern over F-35 programme

British Defence Minister Philip Hammond voiced concern at Capitol Hill on January 5th, at the potential effects of the new US military strategy and budget plan proposing $487 billion in cuts over the next decade. His concern evolved around the potential cuts or delays in the US F-35 Joint Strike Fighter programme, with which London intends to equip its future aircraft carrier.
