On November 7th the Security & Defence Agenda (SDA) along with the European Company for Strategic Intelligence (CEIS) and the Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung (KAS) hosted the annual Security and Defence Day conference entitled "Re-thinking Europe's security priorities." The conference was organised under the patronage of the Polish presidency to the EU and welcomed over 340 senior participants from the EU, NATO, national governments, industry, NGOs, academia and the media.
The conference featured remarks by Polish Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs Jan Borkowski, and European Commissioner for Internal Market and Services Michel Barnier. It brought together 40 high level speakers to debate Europe’s security priorities in situation awareness, crisis management, pooling and sharing, cyber-defence and maritime security.
